Nothing can be more daunting to an organization than Environmental Health & Safety compliance liabilities that can exist when cleaning, decontaminating, or decommissioning a production facility. From emerging technology companies that are outgrowing their space to manufacturing facilities that are retiring assets, ELI works with clients to reduce potential liability exposure while keeping them safe and compliant. In today’s ever-changing regulatory environment, we provide sustainable environmental solutions to the industry’s toughest challenges.

ELI offers a wide variety of services to assist industries with annual maintenance tasks. Our confined space cleaning, stand by rescue services, supplied air, sampling, chemical transfer services and sediment removal using our “Guzzler” vacuum truck are always in high demand. Let us assist you with your next scheduled cleaning, and we’ll make your operation run smoothly by getting rid of the gunk.
Drum waste disposal options ensure cost effective and compete disposal of your drum waste, regardless of the type. Containerized waste ranging from a few ounces to 55-gallon drums and up to cubic yard size containers is efficiently collected and properly disposed of. ELI services customers with one shop or thousands of locations, handling large and small quantity drum waste generators. Regular drum waste pickups ensure you ship within your regulatory guidelines and stay in compliance.
Environmental Logistics provides management, transportation and disposal of drum and bulk hazardous and non-hazardous waste streams for liquids, solids, semi-solids or sludge. We handle small or large volumes and a wide range of container sizes. Our on-site waste technicians are thoroughly versed in waste profiling, labeling, land bands, Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, reporting, and facility paperwork. With our bulk waste assets, including high-efficiency, high-volume vacuum trucks, we can quickly pump and transport solids, liquids, and sludge in all hazard classes. We also maintain a specialized fleet of stainless steel tankers for corrosives and other specific chemical transfers and transport.
Environmental Logistics serves numerous industries, municipalities and utility companies with tank cleaning services. From 10-gallon acid neutralization tanks for medical and biotechnology companies to six million gallon 240-foot diameter refinery tanks, no limits are placed on the services we provide. A team of experienced confined space trained technicians, mobile breathing air support trailer, rescue teams and equipment and project management with the know how to complete any sized project are available to safely complete any project.
Water treatment systems such as clarifiers, holding tanks, bioreactors, pump stations, and other related equipment are expensive, to buy and/or repair, and their downtime can be costly in fines imposed by regulatory agencies. Regular maintenance and cleaning of these features are important steps that will usually prevent most problems.
Most sludge removal systems have squeegees that sweep the tank floor but, there is a gap between the rotational system of the clarifier and the floor surface. It is important to keep clean this part of the clarifier and the solution we’ve found to be most effective is using our industrial Super Vacuum Truck to remove the sludge. Environmental Logistics also uses this method to clear out riser pipes, suction header orifices and gravity settling chambers.
Customer Service is everyone’s responsibility at Environmental Logistics; our project managers guide generators on the job site, through the maze of handling and cleanup processes, and are dedicated to the safe management and disposition of materials from each task. Whether it’s a paperwork, regulatory, or physical issue, they know the right questions to ask so that waste materials are managed quickly and effectively.
An added customer service that Environmental Logistics Inc. provides is to assist with the tracking of waste handling documentation. ELI uses a state of the art document management system that records every transaction completed for the generator and those documents can be retrieved upon request. This can be invaluable during the preparation of hazardous waste fee returns and audits.
Environmental Logistics is a leader in the field of unknown substance field identification, providing field “Haz-Cat” services on a wide variety of projects. Categorization of unknown chemicals can involve nuclear, chemical and biological detection, chemical waste identification and field chemical analysis. We provide quick solutions for your need to identify or characterize any substance while on-site.
Some applications require serious cleaning power and expertise. Environmental Logistics has a large and diverse fleet of hydro-blasting equipment designed to safely and efficiently remove fouling and deposits from all types of equipment. These may include exchangers, towers and vessels, lines and sewers, and other contaminated surfaces. With a powerful combination of the latest technology, skill, experience and safety record, you’ll have the confidence of knowing your equipment will be thoroughly cleaned. From conventional 10,000 psi pressures to the combination of water and aggregate at more than 40,000 psi, we routinely achieve pressure cleaning results that surpass our customers’ expectations.
Hydraulic jetter services offer an efficient, economical, and safe way to clean your drain and septic system. Using state-of-the-art equipment, water is propelled with varying amounts of pressure into your sewer line. A nozzle mounted on the end of a heavy-duty hose has a variety of jets that direct very powerful streams of water all the way into the pipe walls which cut through tough blockages and buildup to thoroughly clean all of your pipes.
Steam Cleaning and Pressure Washing Services remove all types of stains from concrete, oil from surfaces, and residues from process equipment utilizing steam pressure washers ranging from 600 to 4,000 psi at 13-15 gpm, and temperatures ranging from ambient to 200 degrees. To maximize cleaning effectiveness, we add specialty chemicals, detergents, degreasers, mild acids and bases as needed. Compared to traditional hydro-wash techniques, the volume of waste generated from steam cleaning is reduced, which may result in lower overall project costs. One of the most common uses for our pressure washing services is to clean pavement to comply with storm water requirements to use “best management practices” for keeping runoff free of contaminants.
